Refund & Cancellation Policy
Blackpool Premier Stays (Cork, Ireland)
Minimum Stay: 8 Weeks
This policy outlines the terms governing cancellations, refunds, and changes to bookings made with Blackpool Premier Stays.
1. Booking Confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of:
- A non-refundable deposit, or
- Full payment (if required at time of booking)
- By confirming a booking, the guest agrees to this policy in full.
2. Deposits & Advance Payments
- All deposits are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances
- Deposits secure the accommodation exclusively for your agreed dates, preventing other bookings
- In some cases, advance rental payments may also be required — these are subject to cancellation rules below
3. Cancellation by Guest
3.1 More Than 28 Days Before Check-in
- Guests may request a cancellation
- A refund may be issued at management discretion, excluding:
- Deposit
- Any administrative or processing fees
3.2 Within 28 Days of Check-in
- No refunds will be issued
- Full booking value remains payable
3.3 No-Show
- Failure to check in on the agreed date without notice:
- Treated as a cancellation within 28 days
- 100% of booking value retained
4. Early Termination of Stay
- Guests who choose to vacate early:
- Remain liable for the full minimum 8-week booking period
- No partial refunds or credits will be issued
- This applies regardless of reason (personal, travel, work, etc.)
5. Amendments to Bookings
- Changes to dates or duration:
- Subject to availability
- May incur additional charges
- Reduction in stay duration is treated as early termination and not eligible for refund
6. Cancellation or Changes by Blackpool Premier Stays
We reserve the right to cancel or amend bookings in exceptional circumstances, including:
- Property damage or maintenance issues
- Health and safety concerns
- Legal or regulatory requirements
In such cases:
- Guests will be offered:
- Alternative accommodation (where possible), or
- A pro-rata refund for unused nights
7. Exceptional Circumstances (Force Majeure)
Refunds are not guaranteed in events beyond our control, including:
- Government restrictions
- Travel disruptions
- Natural disasters
- Public health emergencies
Any refund in such cases is at management discretion only.
8. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days
- Refunds will be issued via the original payment method
- Transaction fees may be deducted where applicable
9. Chargebacks & Disputes
- Guests agree to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback
- Unjustified chargebacks may result in:
- Legal action
- Recovery of associated fees and costs
